Another documentary that promises to reveal the identity of Satoshi, the Bitcoin creator who uses a pseudonym.

Channel 4 is a British TV station. "fun, journalistic, gonzo journey" The goal is to identify Satoshi as Nakamoto.

This comes on the heels a HBO show that was met with scathing criticism from Bitcoiners.

"Money Electric: The Bitcoin Mystery" had claimed that BTC Core developer Peter Todd was this cryptocurrency's elusive creator.

Todd responded with a firm denial, accusing venture capitalist Adam Cochran of HBO’s blatant lies. "shit journalism."

You can also find out more about the following: Channel 4 Gabriel Gatehouse is the host of this show that will be launched on YouTube for the first time on Monday 17th February.

The host is a BBC podcast called "The Coming Storm" This article delves deeper into the "conspiracy theories tearing America apart."

According to Broadcast magazine, his new show is a hit. "uncovers what could be a conspiracy to end democracy and transform the world as we know it."

As well as shedding light on Nakamoto's true identity, the documentary aims to explore "how the individuals and ideas at the heart of Bitcoin's creation have traveled from the tech fringes to the center of politics."

Will Anderson, executive producer of the show, says that it was originally a manhunt. "to a surreal quest to uncover a potential plot by a group of Silicon Valley power brokers to undermine democracy."

Bitcoiners may roll their eyes at this point, with TV shows focused on crypto generally accused of being overly simplistic, inaccurate, unfair… or all three.

Given HBO's slickly produced attempt aired in October, this British broadcast has the advantage of absorbing the impact of Donald Trump's return to the White House—complete with pro-crypto policies.

"Seeking Satoshi: The Mystery Bitcoin Creator" The five 20-minute videos will be broadcasted on YouTube before they are stitched into a full-length feature documentary and broadcasted on television at the start of March.
